Studio Series 115 Bass Speaker Cabinets

Studio series really show the beauty of the woods and the potential of a smaller enclosure for a smaller space or venue. Above cabinet is an example of Walnut. In the baffle are visible built in high frequency diffusors and front ports.

 Wood choices: Walnut, Maple, Alder, and exotics like Purple Heart, Padouk, Bloodwood,
anything really but beware of the price

Speakers we use in our 115 Studio bass cabinets

One of the speakers we often use in 115s is a15A150 Weber
for a low powered bass amps like famous B15n or its Ceramic version, 15F150

 

To enhance high frequency definition in bass speakers, especially ones with large voice coils, Weber Speakers has options for aluminum dust caps which provide a little more top end. This option is available for most speakers

There are a couple of HIFI speakers that are available for this application as well as a couple of Eminence models we use.

Kappa Pro LF-2 is a great performer and is able to handle tons of power.
Best bass speaker for the price in a high powered model.
